Baqai Medical University Karachi Admission 2025: The Baqai Foundation established in 1976 is the supereme policy making body. It is responsible for monitoring and assistance and guidance to pursue various projects which have been completed or are currently underway. For the last 60 years, Prof. Dr. Fareeduddin Baqai, Prof. Dr. Zahida Baqai and their capable teams have consistently executed sterling projects in the fields of Human Development, Poverty Alleviation, Medical Education, Training, Healthcare, Food and Nutrition, Environment Protection as well as a myriad of complex challenges. The very first project launched by Prof. Dr. Baqai in the 1960’s, was the establishment of a 350 bedded healthcare facility to serve the lower and middle income community groups. This project also entertained charity patients. Baqai Hospital at Nazimabad provided high-quality, economical medical care, that was scarcely available at that time. The establishment of Baqai Hospital was the first private-sector social venture in Pakistan, with a primary focus on medical research and education. Since its formative years the Baqai Foundation International had the vision and compassion to identify the detrimental gap between the large growing population and the sparsely available health-care institutions in the region. Today, this large, diversified medical complex and education facility continues to grow and offer state-of-theArt training programs in numerous fields of medical sciences. In 1983, the BFI founder, visionary philanthropist and medical practitioner, Prof. Dr. Fareeduddin Baqai, along with his committed, highly qualified, kindhearted wife Prof. Dr. Zahida Baqai, got this foundation officially registered. This foundation and its passionate social endeavors have earned the respect and support of thousands of benevolent donors from across the world. Its community development projects are operating in numerous countries and regions of the world, including Bangladesh, Nepal, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Canada and USA.

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) A’ Level

MBBS & BDS Admission Guidelines for Session 2024-25

• Minimum Marks required as per PM&DC admission policy criteria in Inter-Science/F.S.C/A Level in Pre-Medical Group.
• A-level applicants or from other than FSc. need to have taken Biology and
• Chemistry as compulsory subjects and the third subject can be Either Physics or
• Mathematics.
• The PM&DC MDCAT admission test is mandatory for all applicants.
• Register yourself on Baqai Medical University Admission Portal on
• www.baqai.edu.pk and fill all the given fields as well as upload documents.
• You will be contacted for an interview if or when scheduled.
• After the process and merit calculation, a MERIT LIST will be posted on the official Website.
• The top 100 students on the merit list will have to deposit the fees within 04
• Working days to secure their Seat in the Medical or Dental College. If they fail to
• deposit their fees within the given 04 days, they will lose their seat and that will be
• given to the next available person on the merit
• Registration of PM&DC MDCAT (with result) and Baqai University admission portal is mandatory for admission.
• Attach registration fee by pay-order or cash with documents of Rs. 2000/- in favor of BMU Admission Cell.
• No Candidate will be entertained if PM&DC rules and regulations are not followed.

Once you have completed the online application form your registration number will be generated. Note down the registration number for further admission process.

After completing the online application you are required to print the “Application Fee Voucher” and pay the application processing fee which is non-refundable. Fee can be paid either as Cash or by Pay order in favor of Baqai Medical University at Baqai Medical University – Main Campus.
