Eligibility Criteria

• Open Merit Seats:
• Pakistani citizens (Including AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan) can apply for admission on open merit seat.
• Passing MDCAT (NUMS)-2024 (Held on Sunday, 01 September 2024) is mandatory. Pass percentage of MDCAT for NUMS is 55% for admission in MBBS Program and 50% for BDS Program.
• Minimum 60% aggregate marks in FSc (Pre-Medical) or equivalent having minimum twelve years of education in atleast three subjects i.e. Biology, Chemistry and either Physics or Mathematics.
• Foreign Seats:
• Any candidate who is a Dual National (Pakistan Origin) / Overseas Pakistani / can apply for admission on foreign seat.
• Candidate must have studied and passed HSSC / 12th grade examination or equivalent from outside Pakistan and possess a certificate from the institution last attended to this effect.
• Minimum 60% aggregate marks in HSSC (Pre-Medical) / 12th grade or equivalent having minimum twelve years of education in at least three subjects i.e. Biology, Chemistry and either Physics or Mathematics.
• Passing MDCAT (NUMS)-2024 (Held on 01 September 2024) with minimum 55% marks for admission in MBBS Program and 50% marks for BDS Program OR MCAT (USA) or UCAT (UK) with 50% marks in the subjects as prescribed above

Weightage Formula for Merit Determination and Admission Schedule

• Entrance Test (MDCAT NUMS 2024 / Valid MCAT (USA) / Valid UCAT (UK)), where applicable 50%
• HSSC / F.Sc (Pre-Medical)/Equivalent 40%
• SSC / Matric/ Equivalent 10%

How to Apply

The candidates are required to visit NUMS Website, www.numspak.edu.pk and apply online

IMPORTANT

1. Possession of CNIC is mandatory for students aged 18 and above at the time of admission.
2. Candidates having foreign qualifications, such as O/A Level etc. shall have to upload the equivalence certificate issued by IBCC at the time of submission of online application, otherwise their application shall be rejected.
3. It shall be the sole responsibility of the candidate to submit complete application along with the required documents. In case of any deficiency, the University may reject the application without intimation to the candidate.
4. Applications once submitted shall be considered final and cannot be changed by the applicant. Applications which are incomplete in any way or those received by post shall be rejected.
5. Applications shall be submitted through online portal only. Hard copies are not acceptable. No application shall be accepted after the last date of submission.
6. The university shall cancel any provisional admission where the credentials of a student cannot be verified.
7. Candidates applying as Paying Cadets to W & R Dte, GHQ, must apply online for Army Medical College (Public Sector) on Open Merit through NUMS Website.
8. Matric/SSC/O-Level/10th Grade and FSc/HSSC/A-Level/12th Grade Certificate must be IBCC attested.
9. Applications for improved results of FSc/HSSC/A-Level/12th Grade will be entertained till 15 November 2024 only.

• Original SSC Mark sheet & Certificate attested by IBCC
• Original HSSC Mark Sheet & Certificate attested by IBCC
• Original Transcript / Certificates of O/A Level
• IBCC Equivalence for O-Level & A-Level
• Copy of NUMS (MDCAT) – 2024 Result / Valid MCAT (USA) / Valid UCAT (UK) (Whichever is applicable)
• Certificate from the institution last attended for HSSC/ A-Level /12^th Grade (Applicable for Foreign Seat)

All candidates are required to get their Matriculation and F.Sc (Pre-Medical) certificates or result cards attested by the Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC).

Candidates with foreign educational qualifications (such as O/A-levels, IB, American/Canadian 10th/12th grade, etc.) must submit an Equivalence Certificate or Provisional Equivalence Letter of their 10th and 12th grade examinations, issued by IBCC.
